This lyrics was written by Ms Sachiko Tawata (1955- ) and was selected as a candidate piece among other entries made to "Song of Hiroshima" invited by Hiroshima City at that time, and I myself volunteered to melodized the lyrics. In particular, the second part of the lyrics attracted me deeply inducing me to melodize the lines.

Since the first part is refreshingly exiting with romantic love, full of feminine beauty, I used a cheerful rhythm, while in the second part the lines are spoken full of pathos, I melodized in the key of C minor.

Incidentally, Ms Sachiko Tawata, the lyricist, is now widely active as a singer of Hana no Kubikazari (Flower Necklace), actress, and voice actress.
