About this music

Give Back the Human

Lyrics of this song are derived from the extremely famous poem of Mr. Sankichi Touge (1917-1953) appeared in the introduction of his "Poems of Atomic Bomb" published in 1951.

Left alone in the wilderness completely burn out by atomic bombing, a human being is crying, writhing, and collapsed on the spot with an urn containing the bleached human bones gathered from here and there……a heartrending rhyme reminding us of the appalling scenery. The repeated sad calls "Give back, give back" compel our hearts to quiver violently.

However, this deep sorrow is eventually sublimed into an intense desire to achieve peace, courageously opening the way to a bright future, and calmly end the music offering prayers for the souls of victims rest in lasting peace.

Nothing can take the place of human life true, the song is a vivid description of the reality and ensuing peace straightforwardly appealing to the people of the world.
